The Fairbanks Family in America is honored to announce that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Cultural Council has awarded the Fairbanks House Museum a $162,500 Cultural Facilities Fund Capital Grant to support the restoration of the museum and its historic roof.
Built in 1637, the Fairbanks House is the oldest surviving timber-framed house in North America. This grant recognizes its extraordinary historical significance and will help preserve this irreplaceable landmark for future generations.
To access these grant funds, we must raise matching funds. Your gift, of any amount, will help unlock this Commonwealth investment and support the restoration of one of America's most remarkable historic treasures.

We welcome non-family members as well as descendants of JONATHAN and GRACE Fairbanks (also known as Fairbank, Fayerbanke, Fairebanke, etc.), spouses and adopted children.
